Aims:
Software projects are particularly difficult to plan and control and the resulting software is frequently unreliable and offers poor performance. This module represents approaches which may be used to overcome these problems, including quantiative managerial techniques and techniques for quality management.

Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
This module will be delivered by lectures using case studies, where appropriate, to illustrate planning techniques. Students will be required to write a report on a research topic related to Software Project Planning.
