Aims:
The module aims to introduce students to the major UK media institutions, to offer an introduction to related theoretical positions.

Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
A series of lectures will deliver core material. Students` learning is supported by tutorials and directed study. Students have an opportunity for feedback on the content of their presentation before they submit their essay. The supplementary assessment is a 4000 word essay.
