Aims:
To investigate in detail a particular area of media studies; to develop and use appropriate research and library skills; to complete and present a coherent piece of written work.

Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
Working from their proposal, essay structure and bibliography, which they have developed in EM-0347D, students write a critical analytical dissertation on their subject. They will continue to utilise previously identified research methodologies and sources of information and develop their research and ideas supported by regular consultations with their supervisor throughout the semester. Supplementary assessment is to repair deficiency in original submission.
