Aims:
To explore the ways in which the study of culture has developed and is currently undertaken. To explain different theoretical standpoints within cultural studies.

Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
Lectures, independent viewing, screenings, directed reading facilitated via Blackboard and tutor-led group discussions are included in the teaching strategy. Learning outcomes are assessed via an essay. Supplementary assessment repairs deficiency in original submission.
